Find out why Ball State’s introductory history course emphasizes problems, turning points and recurring themes that focus on the way global interactions helped to shape western cultures. Dr. Abel Alves will facilitate a discussion of how processes of globalization long predate the twenty-first century, and how the interaction of multiple cultural traditions shape who we are today.
Performances by musicians of all ages and levels who study music with a Ball State faculty member or student teacher. Sponsored by the Ball State University Collegiate Chapter of Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). Free and open to the public.
Douglas Droste, director of orchestras, leads this all-student ensemble in a program to include works by Allessandro Marcello (Oboe Concerto in D minor - Lisa Kozenko, soloist) and Igor Stravinsky (Rite of Spring). Tickets available through the Emens Auditorium Box Office.
This information session will allow you to explore whether a master's in information and communication sciences is a good fit for you and your overall career plan.
