Pianist Sean Chen, the 2013 DeHaan Classical Fellow of The American Pianists Association, recently won Third Prize at the 14th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Recognized as a rising star, Chen has appeared as a soloist with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, Suwon City Philharmonic, New West Symphony, and the Juilliard Orchestra. Chen is a graduate of The Juilliard School, where he earned his bachelor's and master's degrees, and is currently pursuing his artist diploma at the Yale School of Music.
