In memory of School of Music alumnus Uttamlal “Tom” Shah, who was killed in a U.S. Embassy bombing in Kenya in 1998, the Scholarship Award Concert features Ball State’s Jazz Ensembles under the direction of Mark Buselli, Freddie Mendoza, and LaMont Webb.

Program to include music by Erik Morales, Gregory Yasinitsky, Vernon Duke (arr. Lowden), Edvard Grieg (arr. Ellington/Strayhorn), Rudolph Toombs (arr. Mendoza), Daniel W. Smith, Mark Buselli, Alex Kastner, Scott Routenberg, and Tom Molter (arr. Buselli).

General Admission is $5. One free student ticket with ID in advance at Emens Box Office, or $5 at the door.
