Ham Radio has long been a means of communicating around the world and has often served as the best means to communicate during emergencies. There have been many technological advances in communication in the years since ham radio came into being. Dr. Zivney will examine the implication of some of those technologies for the future of ham radio.
Dr. Terry Zivney. Dr. Ziveny came to Ball State as the Maxon Distinguished Professor of Finance and Insurance and is now an emeritus faculty member. In addition to his research and teaching duties Dr. Zivney served in faculty governance for several years. During all of this time he kept up a vital interest in Ham Radio including traveling to Russia to meet with Ham Radio enthusiasts there.
