Grand Opening for the David Owsley Museum of Art

The expansion and renovation at the David Owsley Museum of Art will elevate the Ball State experience both for students and the community. New galleries will exhibit more than 500 works of non-western art from China, Japan, India, Africa, and the Pacific Islands, as well as from Native American, Mesoamerican, and South American civilizations. Together with the existing galleries of western art, they will represent world civilizations on six continents.
A ribbon cutting will be held at 1 p.m., followed by a celebration and gallery activities at 1:30 p.m.
Event is free and open to the public.
