We invite you to participate in the 2018 Natural Resources and Environmental Management (NREM) Internship & Career Fair, Thursday, January 25, 2018.
John Fillwalk, Director of BSU's Institute for Digital Intermedia Arts (IDIA Lab) will showcase virtual and interactive digital research projects produced in collaboration with scholars from across the arts, sciences and humanities. Projects will survey approaches to virtual reality, augmented reality, data visualization, head-mounted displays, human computer interface, multi-user virtual worlds and mobile applications. IDIA Lab staff will be on-hand in break out sessions to provide hands-on technology demos for exploration of the approaches mentioned in the presentation.
Mary Barr from Marketing and Communications will join College of Communication, Information, and Media to do in-person brand training.
This will be a workshop packed with suggestions about the research process to help you get your thesis project off the ground. Students are welcome to come to room BC 129 or join us remotely. Be ready to learn about research tools and strategies that will help you gather sources for your literature review.
The awards go to faculty who demonstrate excellence in the creation, mentoring, and execution of immersive learning projects.
An active pianist, Tan has presented solo and chamber music concerts in major cities such as New York, Chicago, Luxembourg, Cologne, Cape Town, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Adelaide, and London, including a solo recital at the St. Martin-in-the-Fields concert series. Free and open to the public.
