Welcome WeekWelcome Week is an established Ball State tradition geared toward incoming freshman students. New students have opportunities to explore the university's many resources, meet other students, participate in fun activities and other events meant to provide a smooth transition to college life.

Residence halls open at 9 a.m. for new students.
5:15 p.m.
This is a mandatory event for all incoming freshmen with a 21st Century Scholarship. Scholarship obligations will be explained and information will be provided about resources on campus.

Academic year for faculty begins.

Ball State faculty and staff are invited to the Fall University Convocation where President Ferguson and other university leaders will welcome in the 2014-2015 academic year. Prior to the event join President and Mrs. Ferguson in the Williams Lounge of Emens Auditorium for a continental breakfast.
