Individual Dietary Needs

If you have specific dietary requirements, don’t worry. We have you covered. 

Whether you’re lactose intolerant, diabetic, gluten intolerant, or have food allergies, our culinary-trained chefs can handle it. Vegetarian? You’ll find options at all locations during all meals, and we offer vegan options at many locations as well. Even if you’ve had oral surgery and are limited to a liquid diet for a few weeks, we can help you find nutritious meals. 

Any student with a meal plan is welcome to meet with Amanda Kruse, RD, CD, Dining’s wellness nutritionist, for nutrition-related consulting as it relates to eating at Ball State. If your dietary needs require accommodation such as special menu planning or special food preparation, please have your doctor fill out this dietary needs form and return it to Amanda in Carmichael Hall 140.  She will then contact you to set up a one-on-one session to talk about your individual requirements. Our chefs will then work with you to make sure you get your meals at the times you designate. Read more about Dining's responsibilities relating to food allergies and individual diets.
