Phi Kappa Psi (ΦΚΨ)

Phi Kappa Psi was founded on February 19, 1852, at Jefferson College in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.  Displeased with the other options available, and spurred by caring for their classmates after a typhoid fever epidemic, the two founders created Phi Kappa Psi based on the idea of "the great joy of serving others" and with the intent to become a national organization.
