Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia

Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia is the world’s oldest and largest national fraternal society in Music. Sinfonia, as it is often called, was born on October 6th, 1898, at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, when a group of thirteen young men came together under the guidance of Ossian Everett Mills. He gathered them to consider the social life of the young men of that institution, and to devise ways and means by which it might be improved.
