Sigma Phi Epsilon was founded at the University of Richmond on November 1, 1901, on the Cardinal Principles: Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. Sigma Phi Epsilon's mission statement is “Building Balanced Leaders for the World’s Communities.”
