The health center fee funds operations of the health center. This fee is $76 each for spring and fall semesters, and $42 for summer session.
Students taking 7 or more credit hours on campus will be charged the Health Center fee automatically. The Health Center fee pays for you to be evaluated by a doctor or nurse practitioner at both the Health Center and the Women's Center and to receive a diagnosis and a plan of care. Evaluation by our physical therapist and treatment is also included. The cost of prescriptions and most laboratory tests are not covered by the health center fee. Please bring your insurance card or a copy of your card with you to your visit for these additional costs. If you do not have health insurance, please let us know during your visit.
Students taking 1-6 credit hours on campus are not charged the Health Center fee, but they may choose to pay the Health Center fee by contacting the bursar's office during the add/drop period of each semester. With the fee paid a student has access to the Health Center as listed above for the entire semester.
Students taking 1-6 credit hours on campus that have not paid the Health Center fee, may still use the Health Center. However, they will be charged a fee at the time of each visit. The fee for each new visit is $40. If a student requires a follow-up visit after he/she is initially seen, then an appointment can be made at the time of the initial visit and the cost of a follow up visit is $25.
For detailed information about fees, please visit the bursar's office website.
