Staff
The Ball State Employee QuickClinic is staffed by certified family nurse practitioners with training and experience in family medicine. These practitioners can diagnose and treat most common illness and prescribe any required medications. The QuickClinic is staffed and managed through IU Health Ball Memorial Physicians. The caring staff include Dr. Dorman and Ann Simpson, NP.
Dr. Dorman has been at the Ball State health center for more than five years and is the Ball State Employee QuickClinic oversight physician. She attended the Indiana University School of Medicine and is board certified in Family Medicine. Her interests include Health Education, Dermatology and Women's Health, and her three cats and dog. Dr. Dorman sees patients in both the student health center and, when needed, the Ball State Employee QuickClinic. Dr. Dorman hails from Parkersburg, West Virginia, and completed her residency at Community Health Network Family Medicine Residency, Indianapolis.
Ann Simpson is a Family Nurse Practitioner who has been with Family HealthCare of Albany for more than 10 years. She shares her time with Albany and the Ball State Employee QuickClinic. Ann received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, and has two master's in nursing degrees from Ball State University and Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind. Her post graduate for Family Nursing Practitioner Certificate was also completed at Indiana Wesleyan University. She has a passion for community education and was employed in nursing academia for many years. Ann resides in the Selma area with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys gardening, camping and family activities.
