We are excited that you will joining us for Orientation at Ball State!
Rooms are available for each student in DeHority Complex.
To get a taste of what it’s like to live in a residence hall, all students—even commuters—are strongly encouraged to stay. You’ll share a double room with another incoming freshman and have opportunities to meet fellow students and ask questions of orientation leaders. Each room is:
- able to accommodate two people of the same gender
- furnished with two beds, bed linens, pillows, and towels
The room rate for students is $25 per person per night.
Family members and students are NOT roomed together during Orientation.
Roommate Requests are not able to be accepted or considered during Orientation.
Important note for students and families: Make sure that you are signing up for an Orientation session before requesting Orientation housing. This is a critical step in making sure that you're reserving space at Orientation in addition to a place to stay overnight. If you have questions about Orientation, please contact the Office of Orientation at 765-285-8290.
