Studebaker Complex

studebakerClose to several academic buildings, Bracken Library, and the Student Recreation and Wellness Facility, Studebaker Complex is comprised of two buildings: Studebaker East and Studebaker West.

Studebaker East is now open following a complete renovation and features double rooms.

The renovated Studebaker West, which has Palmer/Davidson and Painter/Whitcraft halls, has a contemporary look enhanced by European styling and a glass-block decor. Studebaker West features three room types for students.

The complex was named for Mark E. Studebaker, one of the first four business education professors at Ball State and head of the Department of Business. He carried a keen interest in people and a satisfaction in teaching during his 36 years on campus. The complex opened in 1965.
