Advanced Transfer Living-Learning Community
The Advanced Transfer Living-Learning Community is for students who are transferring to Ball State with 30 or more accumulated credit hours toward graduation. Students can expect an upper-level environment that focuses on helping them make a smooth transition to their major and Ball State.
Opportunities:
- Connect with faculty and staff members from various academic units outside of the classroom
- Learn about academic resources and support offered to Ball State students
- Become engaged in the Ball State community by learning about student organizations, clubs, and activities
Partners: To accomplish these goals, the Advanced Transfer Living-Learning Community works closely with the Career Center, Learning Center, Counseling Center, Academic Advising, and various academic departments to foster a strong support network for students exploring their choices for majors.
Classes:
- HIST 150 - The West in the World, 3 credit hours
Programming: Students living in this community may participate in career workshops that link students with events dedicated to meeting different student organizations and community trips to cultural events.
Location: This community is located on specific floors of Painter/Whitcraft Halls in Studebaker West Complex.
