Transfer Living-Learning Community

The Transfer Living-Learning Community is for students who are transferring to Ball State and are interested in living with other transfer students. Students can expect an upper-level environment that focuses on helping them make a smooth transition to their major and career interests at Ball State.

  • Connect with faculty and staff members from various academic units outside of the classroom
  • Learn about academic and career development resources and support offered to Ball State students
  • Become engaged in the Ball State community by learning about student organizations, clubs, and activities

Partners: To accomplish these goals, the Transfer Living-Learning Community works closely with the Career Center, Learning Center, Counseling Center, Academic Advising, and various academic departments to foster a strong support network for students exploring their choices for majors.

  • HIST 150 - The West in the World, 3 credit hours

Programming: Students living in this community may participate in career workshops that link students with events dedicated to meeting different student organizations and community trips to cultural events.

Location: This community is located on specific floors of Painter/Whitcraft Halls in Studebaker West Complex.
