Latino Student Union's Executive Board 2015-2016
President: Carlos Mata
The President of LSU oversees all of the functions of the organization. The President is also expected to organize and execute all executive meetings and attend 1:1 meetings with the Graduate Advisor for LSU. The president shall oversee the planning and implementation of LSU's Welcome Week Events and Month of Events.
Vice President: Kirsis Dipre
The Vice President of LSU shall oversee the planning and implementation of LSU’s Fiesta on the Green, Latinopalooza, and Citizenship Workshop. The Vice President shall also prepare a delegation to attend the United States Hispanic Leadership Conference (USHLI).
Secretary: Leo Avila
The Secretary of LSU shall catalogue and archive all documentation pertaining to the organization and prepare/distribute information to the General Body Members. The Secretary maintains all correspondence for the organization.
Treasurer: Alex Galan
The Treasurer of LSU shall oversee all financial transactions of LSU in accordance with the University and organizational guidelines with the approval of the Executive Officers. The Treasurer shall also balance and maintain the organizational treasury and receipts.
Public Relations Director: Victoria Voelkel
The PR Director of LSU shall ensure publication materials are to be created to publicize LSU’s meetings, events, and co-sponsored functions. The Director shall also contact campus media outlets in regards to promoting upcoming events.
SGA Representative: Ana Batres
The SGA Representative is the liaison of the General Body Members of LSU to the Student Government Association (SGA) and voice the concerns of the organization. The Representative shall also inform the Executive Officers of any SGA initaive that affects the organization.
