American Society for Microbiology

Related major/area of study: Biology
Founded: February 2, 2004

Ball State's chapter of the American Society for Microbiology provides students with an opportunity to participate in events and discussions relating to microbiology. Weekly speakers give students the chance to hear about topics that may never get discussed in the classroom. BSUASM also takes part in service activities, fundraising, and field trips within the Muncie community. Anyone interested in scientific exploration would fit well into our group of passionate future scientists. If you have any questions, please e-mail advisor John McKillip or visit the ASM Web site.
