Club Japan

Club Japan, is a recreational club for those who enjoyed anime, manga and the language. Over the years Club Japan has become so much more than that. The organization now educates its members about Japanese culture, which isn’t necessarily taught in the classroom. For those interested, becoming a member is easy because anyone is welcome to join. No background is needed in the Japanese language, just an eagerness to learn about the culture. Club meetings are formatted to a relaxing, fun environment for all to enjoy and learn about Japanese culture. For more information, contact Sara Higdon or Advisor Kazumi Matsumoto.

Quote: “The club isn’t just to learn, it’s to make friendships and share common interests and experiences about the Japanese culture." - Lila Ilyas, past Club Japan President
