Multicultural Ambassadors Corps

Founded: January 1, 0001

Multicultural Ambassadors Corps (MAC) is responsible for working with Early Outreach Programs (EOP) sponsored campus visits for individual students, groups, College Awareness Day, the annual Benjamin E. Mays Award Ceremony, and other programs implemented by EOP and the Office of Admissions.

Members of MAC give tours of campus to visiting groups, participate in panel discussions about college life experiences, and escort visitors to departmental presentations. MAC members are responsible for attending training sessions that give them insight on the Ball State community. These members are trained on how to better understand diversity and cultural differences, which allow MAC members the opportunity to better educate the university's students, faculty, and administration.
