The "Pride of Mid-America" Marching Band is one of the nation's great college marching bands. Comprised of more than 200 student musicians, the band is an integral and exciting part of the tradition and spirit at Ball State University. Utilizing a versatile marching style, the band is capable of performing traditional drill, as well as the latest in contemporary show design.

Performances include all home football games, occasional away games, NFL games, championship games, bowl games, and additional exhibition performances on campus and throughout the state of Indiana. The "Pride" is open to all Ball State students regardless of major with the band's membership representing virtually every academic curriculum on campus.

While there is no audition requirement for marching band wind sections, the drum line and color guard are selected by audition only. For more information, contact the Ball State Band Office at 765-285-9178. For information on the Pride of Mid-America Marching Band, contact Thomas Caneva.
