Secular Student Alliance

Founded: January 16, 2012

Secular Student Alliance aim to eradicate misconceptions and prejudices about atheism, while engaging members and the community in the ideas of science, reason, and humanism.  Members will participate in outreach programs, volunteer at community events as a secular presence, associate with like-minded individuals during organization functions, provide support for individuals who have not yet made their atheism known to their family and/or peers, and keep records of scientific evidence and other arguments as a resource for those questioning dogmatic beliefs. SSA meet alternating Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the Student Center from 5-7pm. For more information, e-mail Michael Dings
