Alberto is a national/international TV reporter for the Spanish branch of Voice of America in Washington, DC, where he interned in 2011. His telecommunications and journalism degree guided him to his career as a national and international correspondent covering Congress, the White House, presidential and congressional elections as well as other news of interest to his Latin American audience.

An Honors College student, he graduated magna cum laude. During his four years at Ball State, he was involved in Sports Link, the social media centers for the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament and the 2012 Super Bowl in Indianapolis, NewsLink, WCRD, and NewsWatch.
