Chelsea is now an assistant art director for Time magazine, a position she landed while still a student. Her immersive learning project provided the experiences she needed to succeed. She traveled with about 40 other Ball State students to London to cover the 2012 Olympics as part of BSU at the Games. "It's incredible being in the middle of one of the world's greatest sporting events, alongside top journalists from around the globe."

As visual editor and storyteller for the project, her print and web graphics were published in the Chicago Tribune and USA Today. A journalism graphics major and Honors College student, she was also involved in Ball Bearings, Cardinal Communications, and The Ball State Daily News.
