Kayleigh assisted legislators in Indiana as it became one of the first states to use iPad technology to replace paper and save money in the legislative process. As a political science and business economics major, her understanding of government and law was vital to the other students in the immersive learning project. She worked one-on-one with legislators, helping them through the app process.
Kayleigh is a first generation college student. "At first, I was completely undecided and overwhelmed. Ball State gave me the opportunity to find my passion."
She is now pursuing her dream of becoming an attorney at the University of Alabama School of Law, one of the nation's top law schools.
