CAP Alumni Awards

The Ball State College of Architecture and Planning Alumni Society Awards Committee annually makes recommendations to the Alumni Board for the following awards:

Distinguished Alumnus Award

The nominee, who must be an alumnus of Ball State University with 15 or more years of professional experience, should hold a position of eminence with a national/international reputation.

Award of Outstanding Achievement

The nominee should hold a position of distinction, and should demonstrate outstanding success in his or her field. He or she should be making outstanding contributions to their profession and to society.

Charles M. Sappenfield Award of Excellence 

The award is given to a faculty member based upon outstanding dedication, contribution and commitment to the education of the students of the College of Architecture and Planning.

These awards will be publicized yearly in ReCap and the Ball State Alumnus. Any alumnus/alumna of CAP is eligible for award consideration and anyone may submit a nomination. For further information, contact the College of Architecture & Planning.
