The Alumni Association has no membership fee. In fact, you will receive many of the benefits of the Alumni Association by virtue of being a Ball State University alumnus or alumna. However, active membership in the Alumni Association provides you with the most direct means to develop and maintain a lasting relationship with your alma mater. Active membership is maintained by making an annual
contribution to Ball State University through the Ball State University Foundation.
Each active member of the Alumni Association is entitled to an alumni photo ID card that grants many usage privileges at University Libraries. Additionally, active members may obtain a Ball State recreational facilities pass that provides access to the Ball State exercise room, weight room, indoor pool, racquetball courts, and locker and shower facilities.
Active members also receive the Alumnus magazine and News from the Cardinal's Nest, an e-newsletter sent monthly. Additional services include medical and life insurance and an affinity credit card.
If reaching out to fellow Ball State graduates is important to you, you may be more interested in services available to affinity groups such as sororities and fraternities or other Ball State organizations. Or, you may be interested in attending a reunion or other alumni event.
