The Certified Training Consultant (CTC) Institute is a series of six three-hour seminars designed to help people acquire skills necessary to serve as effective consultants and trainers for corporations, government units, and nonprofit organizations. The CTC Institute is sponsored by Ball State University's Building Better Communities. The CTC Institute instructors consist of Ball State University personnel, independent consultants, business owners, and corporate trainers.

Certification Requirements
To be recognized as a Certified Training Consultant, participants will be asked to do the following:
1. Attend all three days.
2. Pass a take-home essay exam, answering four of ten questions.
3. Demonstrate skill as a consultant/trainer by completing a relevant project of the participant's choice.
CEU and CPE Credit
Participation in the Certified Training Consultant Institute earns each participant 1.8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or 18 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours. CEU and CPE records are maintained by the School of Extended Education at Ball State University.
