How can I get help with my computer?
If you are having problems with your computer, you can contact the UCS HelpDesk by emailing
helpdesk@bsu.edu, calling 765-285-1517, or stopping by RB 165.
You might also want to visit
www.bsu.edu/techclips to access TechClips, a collection of online help videos.
Where do I take my computer to be fixed? We have certified repair technicians on campus that can fix your computer. If you have a Windows-based computer or a Mac, you can make an appointment with
TechTime. Mac users can also stop by the
iCare Corner in Teacher's College for assistance.
If the problem is determined to be a hardware issue, the staff in TechTime or at the iCare Corner will give you a referral slip. You can take your referral slip and computer to the HelpDesk located in the Robert Bell building room 165 where they will process your request for repair.
Please note that hardware repair is available for all Mac computers. Windows computers must be purchased at the Computer Store to be eligible for hardware repair services.
Will you install the software for me? Help with software installation can be obtained by making an appointment with
TechTime or visit the
iCare Corner if you own a Mac.
