Getting Started

	Microsoft Excel 2003 Introduction Learn the basics of using Microsoft Excel 2003. The layout of an Excel worksheet is explained.

Formatting Cells and Data

	Column Width Change the width of a single column or a group of columns within your Excel spreadsheet.

	Text Alignment Change the alignment of text in a single cell or a series of cells.
	Format Font, Size and Color Format text in a cell by changing the font, the size, or the color. Learn to apply Bold, Italic, or Underline characteristics to text in a cell.
	Formatting a Range of Cells in Excel Select a cell or range of cells and format the contents of those cells.
	Format Percentages Use the percent style to format percentages in an Excel spreadsheet.
	Use Merge and Center Columns Use the “Merge and Center” command to center a title across several columns in your spreadsheet.
	Word Wrap Alignment In Excel To keep text within the cell it was typed in, the word wrap alignment feature can be used. It changes the height of the cell so that all the text fits without changing the width of the cell.
	Freeze a Row or Column to Control Display Use the Freeze Pane feature to lock either columns or rows so they stay displayed as you scroll through your spreadsheet.

Modifying a Worksheet

	Insert Columns and Rows in Excel Insert columns and rows into an existing spreadsheet. Format cells to change the way the data in that cell is displayed.
	Copy and Paste Between Cells Copy and paste the contents of existing cells to other cells. Learn to use the Fill Handle to copy formulas and values to other cells.

Functions

	AutoSum Feature Use the AutoSum feature to quickly total a column or row.
