IRBNet is a suite of electronic solutions intended to aid in the submission and review of research compliance-related proposals.
IRBNet was developed in 2001 through a cooperative venture of Dartmouth College and The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, funded under the National Institutes of Health program for Human Subjects Research Enhancement Awards. Today, as a service-based company, IRBNet provides a secure, reliable, & easy-to-use solution to research institutions looking to streamline their IRB submissions and reviews. Ball State's contract with IRBNet allows us also to submit protocols to the Animal Care and Use Committee, the Institutional Biosafety Committee, as well as proposals to the ASPiRE Internal Grant Program
Ball State's Office of Research Compliance has created how-to guides for each step in the protocol submission process for compliance approval in
Human Subject Participation,
Animal Care and Use and
Institutional Biosafety. The Sponsored Programs Office likewise has instructions in place for
ASPiRE online proposal submission.
