Diversity at Ball State

At Ball State, we are committed to diversity. Our students come from across the country and around the world. They come from towns big and small, bustling metropolises and cities and from the rural countryside. We recognize and celebrate the different cultures, heritages, and backgrounds our students bring to campus.

We have several multicultural organizations on campus and a Multicultural Center, which offers programs and events throughout the year. In addition, our Rinker Center for International Programs provides services to international students, houses study-abroad programs, and sponsors events, and our Office of Institutional Diversity promotes policies and practices that support campus diversity. Students with disabilities can find specialized services through Disabled Student Development. In addition, we have a Bias Response Team to help when incidents arise and to direct students to resources when necessary.
