The American Journal of Business provides an effective medium for academics and practitioners to share and discuss key business developments and issues. It is the intent of the journal to publish articles aimed at improving business practices or enhancing instructional efforts through application, transfer, and interpretation of knowledge.

Established in 1985, the American Journal of Business is supported by 10 schools with Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation and appears in 15 different directories. Each article goes through a double-blind review process with multiple reviewers.
