Academic Program and Opportunities

The Center for Historic Preservation provides professional and educational experiences to students from Ball State’s master of science in historic preservation program, which is offered through the Department of Architecture in the College of Architecture and Planning.

We provide graduate assistantships and internships to an interdisciplinary team of students. Graduate students employed here gain valuable hands-on experience when working with cities, towns, state agencies, Main Street programs, and heritage organizations.

Not only do we attract those studying historic preservation, we also attract students of architecture, landscape architecture, and urban planning as well as history, interior design, English, and a wide variety of other fields.
