To apply to the graduate program in urban and regional planning, you must have a bachelor’s degree
or equivalent from an accredited college or university. Once admitted, you will be placed in the appropriate
track based on your academic background and experience.
If you are a student living in the United States, you must meet the admission requirements of
our department and the
Graduate School. Your admission is based on your individual qualifications and satisfactory performance on all required materials. We require an undergraduate cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale) or 3.0 for the second half of your baccalaureate education.
Please apply to the department and the Graduate School at the same time. However, you must first be admitted by the Graduate School before the department can review your application.
International students must apply for admission through the
Rinker Center for International Programs.
