The standard track curriculum is segmented into a common core that all students must take, a core particular to your chosen
area of concentration, and allied electives available in planning and 16 other fields. The core present knowledge that is more essential to a planning or its concentration areas.
Your first-year courses will provide you with a foundation in the field, including planning, history and theory, legal issues, presentation techniques, and
research methods. There is also a land analysis and site-planning studio course that will introduce you to typical planning problems in a context of group interaction and presentation.
