After your freshman year, once you've been admitted to the Department of Journalism, you can apply for scholarships specifically for current (or returning) students, including some for students in each major and sequence. These scholarships range in value from $500 to $3,000.
You must apply online with the Department of Journalism Student Scholarships Application no later than 5 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2009. You must also provide the scholarship review committee with work samples, which are also due at 5 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2009.
Scholarship recipients will be notified in March of their awards.
