Profile Thomas Baird, Associate Professor of Marketing at Ball State, received his Ph.D. from the University of Arkansas (1973). He joined the Ball State faculty in 1973. His research interests include advertising effectiveness and consumer decision making. His teaching interests center on Consumer Behavior and Advertising. The American Marketing Association chapter named Baird Outstanding Teacher for the 1981-82 academic year. He has made numerous presentations at the AMS and American Marketing Association conferences. Baird was a senior partner in a local advertising agency from 1982-1988.
