The Undergraduate Fellow in the Miller College of Business represents the college to prospective business students and their families. The Fellow works for the Office of the Dean and represents Miller College at Cardinal Preview Days, admission events, and special programs arranged through the Office of Admissions.
Award
The Miller College of Business Alumni Fund pays in-state tuition, and a stipend may be provided for books each semester the Fellow is enrolled between summer and spring semesters, inclusive. Within certain limits, student wages will be paid for all time spent on Miller College duties. The appointment begins late in spring semester.
Qualifications
- Possess excellent communication skills in order to meet with high school juniors and seniors as well as their parents/guardians.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the Miller College of Business programs and university policies.
- Have a minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) in a Miller College major and junior standing by fall of the application year.
- Be on campus and performing duties for both summer terms and be enrolled at Ball State until the end of the spring semester of the following year. Please note: Many events occur on Saturdays.
- Have no outside employment during the fellowship period.

The Miller College of Business Scholarship Committee will select the Fellow and an alternate on the basis of application data as required and a personal interview/presentation.
