Payment Process

Methods of Payment
Tuition may be paid by check, e-check, money order, or credit card. You may pay by credit card or e-check during the registration process or wait for a bill. Checks or money orders should be made payable to Ball State University. If paying in person, please do not bring cash.

Financial Aid
Everyone's situation and aid eligibility is different. You are encouraged to talk to a financial aid representative before you enroll in these classes. The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid may be reached by e-mail or phone at 765-285-5600 or 800-227-4017. 

Ball State Fee Remission
Eligible Ball State employees and their dependents may use fee remission for Independent Learning Program classes. Questions about employee fee remission may be directed to Diane Drake at 765-285-1834. Questions about employee dependent fee remission may be directed to the financial aid office by e-mail or phone at 765-285-5600 or 800-227-4017. Fee remission forms are available online. 

Additional Information
Fees are not a part of the block fees paid by on-campus students. For persons 60 years of age or older, the registration is half the regular fee. Indicate on the registration form if you are 60 or older and provide a photocopy of your driver's license. Audit enrollments are not available for Independent Learning Program courses. Learn more...
