Bachelor of General Studies

If you’re the type of person who is interested in a little of everything, this is the degree for you. The bachelor of general studies (BGS) will allow you to get a well-rounded education, learning from nearly every discipline Ball State offers. This program is intended to give you a broad education covering many interesting fields of study.

Mode of Delivery
This degree is studied entirely through the Independent Learning Program in nine-month and/or 10-week formats. And the best part is you don’t have to wait for a semester to start. You can start any time of the year you like. You may register and start Independent Learning Program courses any time during the year and select from nine-month and/or 10-week formats. All of the 10-week and many of the nine-month classes are Internet based.
