Learning doesn’t always take place inside the classroom. Our students are out and about doing
research,
interning, attending
colloquia, joining clubs (including one
focused on physics), and winning awards.
Our
summer research workshops are a great way for teachers to get more training. The planetarium workshop, for example, covers topics such as machine calibration, designing programs, and grant writing. In addition, we will give you a hands-on approach to explore the modern technologies that have expanded options for the planetarium such as digital video and photography.
