Advanced Placement Credit

Eligibility

Any high school student who has participated in the College Board's Advanced Placement program (AP) during high school or who has mastered an equivalent background through any other means may apply to be tested.

Credit

Test results are evaluated on a 1 to 5 scale by the College Board Advanced Placement Examinations. Credit granted by Ball State is determined by the appropriate department. See a list of accepted AP courses and credits.

Procedures

Participating high schools may administer their own tests. Students who do not attend high schools that participate in the Advanced Placement Program may arrange to take the test at any participating high school.
