We care about students and their academic success. Our
living-learning communities provide a supportive environment as you make the transition from high school to college. And we strive to provide a great value as well as a great place to live, study, and play by including
many services in your housing and dining contract.

To help guide our work with students, we follow the three guiding statements below, along with our
learning objectives:
Mission Statement We support the academic success and personal growth of our students through safe, comfortable, affordable, and diverse living and learning communities.
Diversity Statement The Office of Housing and Residence Life is committed to valuing and learning from the diversity of students on our campus. We embrace all of the people that complete our campus community and pledge to challenge and support our students in overcoming the barriers of prejudice and discrimination in an increasingly global society.
Sustainability Statement Housing and Residence Life fosters a culture of environmental sustainability and civic responsibility by educating individuals about their impact on the campus, local, and global communities. We seek to initiate action and awareness to create healthy social systems and environments.
