Ball State University’s scholarships will provide distinct educational experiences for students of high academic promise and achievement and play a crucial role in recruiting high-caliber students. We compete for these students regionally and nationally, and although students are attracted to Ball State by our outstanding academic programs, their decision is often driven by cost and by competing financial 
opportunities from other schools.
Ball State is undertaking a bold initiative to increase opportunities for students by creating 200 new scholarships. More than 77 percent of all students receive some form of financial assistance. The availability of scholarships is an important consideration for both students and parents.
Every scholarship opportunity we offer will facilitate the recruitment and retention of outstanding students with diverse interests and multiple options for college. Ball State will position itself as the destination of choice for students seeking academic rigor and immersive learning.
