Who We Are
Cardinal Women’s Connection (CWC) is an exciting group of alumnae and friends of Ball State who pool their resources and their passion for the benefit of women attending the university. This collaborative fund helps launch the careers of qualified female students by providing scholarships toward their internships.

With your annual commitment of $200 to CWC, you will know exactly what is being funded and you will have the opportunity to meet scholarship recipients and network with your fellow alumnae. Gifts received by December 31, 2009 will be awarded during the 2009-2010 academic year. All donations are tax deductible.
CWC members are as engaged as they want to be. Out of respect for everyone's time, we try to keep meetings to a minimum and to offer value-added presentations and information.

The CWC Scholarship
A Cardinal Women’s Connection scholarship worth $1,000 will be awarded each year to one or more women embarking on an off-campus learning opportunity. With additional support, we will be able to award one scholarship to one student from each of the seven academic colleges at Ball State University. In spring 2009, the first CWC scholarships were awarded to three inspiring young women.
Our fall event was held at Marianne Glick's house in Indianapolis, IN, October 21, 2009. For over 20 years, Marianne Glick and her company, Glick Training Associates, have provided results-oriented training and consulting for corporations and organizations. One of this year's CWC award recipients, Stephanie Weyer, attended and shared her internship experience with us. Her internship, funded in part by a CWC scholarship, was in Nashville, TN, where she assisted in the creation of an urban design district through research, drawings, and presentations.
