Campus and community singers come together to form the Ball State School of Music Summer Chorus, under the direction of Duane Karna, where they perform music from around the world. The concerts include vocal presentations of the finest in light classical, pop, jazz, spiritual/gospel, and patriotic music.

Ball State’s Summer Band and Summer Jazz Ensemble join forces to present traditional and contemporary works representing all music periods and styles, and including classic hits of the big bands. Summer Band is conducted by Shawn Vondran, the Jazz Ensemble by Mark Buselli.
