25th Annual Guitar Festival - Guest Artist Recital: Daniel Lippel, guitar

The Guitar Festival at Ball State University’s School of Music celebrates twenty-five years of concerts devoted to the classical guitar.  Every year the School of Music hosts a performer who has won the Guitar Foundation of America International Competition or an artist on the verge of an international career.  The Ball State University School of Music Classical Guitar Ensemble presents a program of duets, trios and quartets for guitar and Professor Paul Reilly performs a solo faculty concert.  Past performers have included Guitar Foundation of America winners Joseph Hagedorn, Antigoni Goni, and others.  Also included are artists such as Rupert Boyd and Dan Lippel, this year’s guest. In cooperation with the College of Fine Arts and Emens Auditorium, guests have also included the world famous Los Angeles Guitar Quartet and the Minneapolis Guitar Quartet.
