Ball
State University is home to one of the nation’s premier theatre and dance
programs, with over 400 majors specializing in acting, musical theatre, dance,
design, and other areas.
Recent
graduates have worked on Broadway (Mary Poppins, Chicago, Rock of Ages),
National Tours (Beauty and the Beast, Mamma Mia!, Spamalot), prime-time
television (The Good Wife, 30 Rock, Hawaii Five 0), Feature films (Contagion,
The Dilemma) and in nationally televised commercials. Most recently, Ball
State’s original musical The Circus in Winter earned great acclaim when
it was selected to participate in the National Alliance of Musical Theatre’s
New Musical Festival in New York City.
The
12th annual New York Showcase provides an exciting opportunity to
see eleven talented BFA Ball State Seniors under the artistic consultation of
New York Casting Director, Stephanie Klapper.
Time: 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. shows with receptions following each performance.
